South Asia’s one of the biggest shopping mall is “Spencer Plaza”. It is located on Mount Road, Chennai. This shopping mall covers over a million sq. ft. In 1983, the original building was destroyed in fire. Then the present building was constructed. Mangal Thirth Estate Ltd. developed the shopping mall. It consists of 3 phases. In the shopping mall all the leading stores have their show rooms and local brands are also available. You can purchase cloths, jewelery, domestic appliances, handicrafts, etc. Fully air-conditioned shopping mall, smooth moving escalators, glass capsule lifts are another attraction. You can have ice-cream, pizzas, samosas, etc. In hot summer you can have a visit to “Spencer Plaza”. It will give you a memorable outing.
